Rapper Rodarius “Rod Wave” Green was arrested Sunday night (May 1) for domestic violence, according to Pinellas County Jail records.
St. Petersburg police took Rod into custody on a warrant for domestic battery by strangulation that took place in Osceola County.
Jail records show that Rod was taken into custody just after 10:30 PM on Sunday, and he was booked after midnight.
More details about the crime in question are pending.
Rod Wave was recently praised on the local news for gifting the residents of St. Petersburg $25,000 worth of gas.
