Hurricane Chris has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
The 31-year-old rapper, real name Christopher Dooley, allegedly shot and killed a man at a Texaco gas station in Shreveport early Friday (June 19) morning.
Chris initially told police the man was trying to steal his car.
The victim sustained multiple gun shot wounds and later died at Ochsner LSU Health hospital.
Once investigators obtained security footage of the incident it “showed that Dooley did not act in self-defense.”
As a matter of fact, the car Hurricane Chris was in was reported stolen out of Texas.
