Ralph Tresvant Clarifies How He & Johnny Gill Ended Up Owning The New Edition Name (Video)

While doing press to promote his new single, “All Mine,” Ralph Tresvant clarified how he and Johnny Gill came to own the New Edition name.

As many of you may know, this particular situation has become a point of contention within the group and it’s resulted in the other members (Bobby Brown, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe) having to tour as RBRM.

Johnny Gill took to the streets of social media a couple of years ago to address the “lies” about the situation.

In a recent interview with Hip Hollywood, Ralph Tresvant said he believes the group will perform together again.

Now, it’s just a matter of them hashing out their personal differences and the legalities when it comes to the ownership of the group’s name.

Watch below:

I surely hope New Edition settles their differences sooner than later because time waits for no man or R&B group.
