Tory Lanez released a statement via iOS, announcing that “The Prison Tapes” project will be discontinued after prison guards reportedly raided his cell block and confiscated his studio equipment.

In the lengthy statement posted on his Instagram page, Tory, who is serving jail time for shooting Megan Thee Stallion, shared a different side of the story.

He blamed the “higher-ups” for trying to suppress his purpose and the positive impact “The Prison Tapes” had on other inmates.

Although the ‘HIGHER UPS’ have stopped ‘The Prison Tapes’ temporarily, they were too late to stop my overall plan.

Since July, I’ve provided legal representation for 472 inmates and actively reopened 476 cases.

With the help of the legal firm ‘Unite The People,’ many inmates will be reunited with their families and loved ones.

I’m calling this ‘The Hands of God Project.’”

In closing, Tory Lanez made a statement about his well-being:

Lastly, they know I’m a threat and they don’t want me saying or doing this, so if ANYTHING happens to me, just know I went out in a blaze of glory trying to revolutionize the end of the mass incarceration era for our people.
