Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank opens in theaters this Friday (July 15) and it’s a must-see for the whole family!
The Paramount Pictures film follows the story of Hank, a down-on-his-luck hound (Michael Cera) who finds himself in a town full of cats who need a hero to defend them from a ruthless villain’s (Ricky Gervais) evil plot to wipe their village off the map.
With help from a reluctant teacher (Samuel L. Jackson) to train him, our underdog must assume the role of town samurai and team up with the villagers to save the day.
The only problem… cats hate dogs!
Paws of Fury also stars Mel Brooks, George Takei, Aasif Mandvi, Gabriel Iglesias, Djimon Hounsou, Michelle Yeoh, Kylie Kuioka, and Cathy Shim.

I had the opportunity to screen Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank with my family and we absolutely loved it!
So much so, that we watched the film three times!
Hank’s story was inspirational and a wonderful reminder that no matter who you are, what you are, and even in the face of adversity – you can be whatever you dream of being – even a hero!
The animation was fantastic and there was plenty of action to keep the kiddos fully engaged, but the writing was exceptionally witty and entertaining for adults to enjoy!
Over the weekend, Paramount Pictures hosted several screenings of the film in New York City, Atlanta, Houston, Washington, D.C., and Chicago.
Celebrities including rap legend Jadakiss, radio personality Dominique Da Diva, Pastor Mike Jr., Winter Williams of “Love & Marriage: D.C.”, and Dr. Contessa Metcalfe of “Married To Medicine” were spotted at the screenings enjoying the film with their families.
