Paramount+ has dropped the teaser trailer for the highly anticipated third season of “Mayor of Kingstown,” set to premiere on Sunday, June 2 (June 3 in all other international markets).

The series, starring Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner, is co-created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon and produced exclusively for Paramount+ by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions.

Season 3 promises intense drama as Kingstown faces a series of explosions and a new threat from the Russian mob, triggering a drug war both inside and outside prison walls.

Jeremy Renner’s character, Mike McLusky, finds himself under pressure to bring an end to the chaos, but complications arise when a figure from his past resurfaces, jeopardizing his efforts to maintain peace among the city’s factions.

Renner leads an impressive ensemble cast, including Hugh Dillon, Taylor Handley, Emma Laird, Tobi Bamtefa, Derek Webster, Nishi Munshi, Hamish Allan-Headley and Michael Beach.

The series boasts an extensive list of executive producers, including Taylor Sheridan, Antoine Fuqua, and Jeremy Renner himself.
