After much ado, a “new and final date” has been announced for the Keyshia Cole Verzuz Ashanti battle.
The announcement read:
RAIN, SLEET, HAIL, SNOW LET’S GO ???????? Join us Thursday, January 21st as we kick off the first #VERZUZ of 2021 with @Ashanti and @KeyshiaCole. Thank you everyone for being patient with us. We can’t wait for this magical night with Keyshia and Ashanti!

This is the third attempt at a battle between the ladies after the first event was postponed because Ashanti contracted COVID-19.
The rescheduled date was pushed back due to rising cases of COVID-19.
And here we are slated for January 21.
