Think losing your luggage is stressful? Taron Egerton’s latest role takes airport anxiety to a whole new level in Netflix’s upcoming thriller, Carry-On.
The Rocketman and Kingsman star steps into the shoes of Ethan Kopek, a TSA agent caught in a life-or-death situation when he’s blackmailed by a mysterious traveler, setting off a chain of events that threatens everyone on board a Christmas Eve flight.
Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, known for ramping up the tension in Non-Stop with Liam Neeson, Carry-On promises heart-pounding action and edge-of-your-seat suspense.
This film also marks a significant moment for Netflix, as it’s their first collaboration with Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Partners, a highly anticipated partnership announced back in 2021.
What to Expect from Carry-On
Written by T.J. Fixman (Ratchet & Clank) and Michael Green (Logan, Blade Runner 2049), Carry-On follows TSA agent Kopek as he’s forced into a dangerous game of cat and mouse with a mysterious traveler, who blackmails him into allowing a hazardous package onto a plane.
With stakes rising as the holiday flight takes off, Kopek must outwit the unknown adversary before disaster strikes.
