Mo’Nique took to the streets of Instagram on Monday with a receipt in hopes of proving she told the truth about Kevin Hart ghosting her.
You may recall that during her interview on “Club Shay Shay,” the comedian and Oscar-winning actress recalled how Kevin promised to help her secure a talk show and then ghosted her when the deal was on the table.
According to Mo’Nique, Kevin’s manager, Dave Becky, called the production company and told them Kevin wanted nothing to do with Mo’Nique.
When Mo’Nique reached out to Kevin Hart, he called it a “miscommunication” and said he would get everything straightened out.
Mo’Nique said she never heard from Kevin again.

On Monday (May 20), Mo’Nique posted a clip of Chelsea Handler roasting Kevin Hart.
In the clip, Chelsea said:
Here’s how great Kevin is – he said, ‘No problem, Chelsea, I got you! I’ll just get you a gig on my movie.’
I said, ‘Great! Behind the camera…in front…I don’t care. I’ll direct it if I have to.’
He said he’d even help me fill out the paperwork.
I was so excited.
He said, ‘I got you, Chelsea. I got you! I got you!’
And that’s when I learned that if you ask Kevin for a favor you can always count on hearing these three words: I got you.
And then you can count on never hearing from him again.
The caption on Mo’Nique’s post reads:

Mo’Nique’s comments section quickly filled up with reactions to the clip.
One person commented, “One thing about my good auntie… she gon have a receipt for everything she say! Whew!”
Someone else posed the possibility of Chelsea Handler using Mo’Nique’s experience with Kevin Hart as comedic material for the roast.
“I think she was being sarcastic. She saw your interview and turned your truth into comedy,” the commenter wrote.

Mo’Nique walked back her original post after realizing the joke was on her.
She updated the caption of her original post writing:
