Today, Marvel Studios dropped the highly-anticipated teaser trailer and poster for Captain America: Brave New World, showcasing Anthony Mackie in his new role as Captain America.
Mackie, who has played The Falcon in previous MCU films, officially took on the mantle in the finale of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier on Disney+ back in 2021.
In Captain America: Brave New World, Sam Wilson (Mackie) steps up to the plate once again, this time facing a brand-new challenge.
After a meeting with the newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, portrayed by the legendary Harrison Ford in his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut, Sam finds himself caught in the middle of an international incident.
The stakes are higher than ever as he races against time to uncover the truth behind a sinister global plot, one that threatens to paint the entire world red.
The film boasts an all-star cast alongside Mackie, including Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumbly, and Giancarlo Esposito.
Liv Tyler, Tim Blake Nelson, and Harrison Ford round out the impressive lineup.
Directed by Julius Onah and produced by Marvel’s own Kevin Feige and Nate Moore, with Louis D’Esposito and Charles Newirth serving as executive producers, this movie promises to be a thrilling addition to the Marvel saga.
