Lynn Price, Former Turkey Leg Hut Owner, Accused Of Paying To Burn Down A Bar

Lynn Price, former Turkey Leg Hut owner, accused of paying to set fire to Bar 5015 amid business feud and federal investigation.

Whew, Chile! Lynn Price, former co-owner of the wildly popular Turkey Leg Hut, is facing serious federal charges after allegedly paying $1,400 to have Bar 5015 set on fire.

The bar, located just blocks away from the Turkey Leg Hut, is owned by his former business partner, Steve Rogers.

According to FBI testimony, this wasn’t some random act—it was personal.

đŸ’„ The Fire, The Feud, And The Fallout

It all came out in court on Thursday during a hearing to decide if Price should stay locked up until trial.

FBI agent Deborah Cline testified that John Lee Price (no relation) told investigators that Lynn Price planned the 2020 arson and paid him to get it done.

Armani Williams, another man tied to the case, is also cooperating with the feds.

But it gets messier.

Cline said Lynn Price was mad when Rogers backed out of a deal to go in on Bar 5015 with him and Nakia Holmes (Price’s ex-wife and Turkey Leg Hut co-owner).

Price allegedly showed up at the bar with a box of cash trying to buy in, and when that didn’t work, the threats started—some as bold as saying he would “blow up” the place.

🌿 A Side Hustle At The Turkey Leg Hut?

According to testimony, John Lee Price also told agents that the Turkey Leg Hut was being used to store and sell marijuana—packaged with the restaurant’s name on it.

Let that sink in.

While Lynn Price hasn’t been charged with any drug crimes (yet), the allegations have people giving major side-eye to what might’ve really been going down behind those long lines and viral plates.

đŸ”„ Guns, A Flamethrower & The Turkey’s Coming Home To Roost

When agents searched Lynn Price’s apartment, they reportedly found weapons registered to other people… and a flamethrower.

Yes, a whole flamethrower.

Prosecutors reminded the court that Price has a prior felony tax fraud conviction and isn’t even allowed to own a gun.

U.S. Attorney Sebastian Edwards didn’t hold back, calling Lynn “the orchestrator” and saying, “The turkeys have come to roost. And that is a problem for him, your honor.”

⚖ Price’s Defense Says He’s No Danger

Price’s lawyer argued that he’s done a lot of good for the community and should be released on bond—especially since others charged in the case already got one.

A letter of support from former NBA coach Don Chaney was even presented to the judge.

But for now, Lynn Price will stay in custody as Judge Dena Palermo decides what happens next.

If convicted, he could be looking at over 20 years in prison.
