LeToya Luckett recently appeared on the “Tamron Hall Show” to promote her Christmas movie, A Miracle Before Christmas, and she revealed that an iconic actress told her that she is a natural.
After playing a clip from LeToya’s new Christmas movie, Tamron complimented her on owning her role, and she asked her how often she went to acting classes to transition from music to theatre.
Letoya revealed that since her first role in Preacher’s Kid (2010), she never took any acting lessons, and one of the greats suggested that she doesn’t because she is a natural.
I was told… Um, I don’t want to say her name because I don’t want her to feel like she gave me some information and with other actors that feel like this.
But, I was told by one of the greats, she was like, ‘You have a gift and its very natural don’t taint it by, you know, going to a class.’
Letoya stood firm on not revealing the iconic actress that gave her the advice because she said she did not want to get in trouble.
