Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is switching up the playbook — and this time, he’s calling the shots on set.
The 2024 NFL MVP is officially making his acting debut in an upcoming episode of “Power Book III: Raising Kanan” Season 4, and let me tell you, this casting is a power move (pun fully intended).
According to PEOPLE, Lamar will appear in just one episode, but from the sounds of it, his character E-Tone is bringing some serious heat.
🎭 Meet E-Tone — Lamar’s On-Screen Persona
So who exactly is E-Tone? He’s being described as “an intimidating figure not to be messed with” — and that’s straight from Starz.
Sounds like he’s not here to play.
Lamar shared his excitement in a statement, saying:
I’m so excited for fans to see me in this new role and thrilled to be a part of ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan.’
E-Tone is a deadly, dangerous character. You don’t want to get on his bad side!
Whew. That sounds like a man you definitely don’t want to cross — on or off the field.
🔥 First Look: E-Tone Crosses Paths With Unique
Although details about E-Tone’s storyline are still under wraps, early photos reveal he’ll be interacting with Unique (played by Joey Bada$$), who is back and more unhinged than ever in Season 4.
If you watched the Season 3 finale, then you know Unique’s surprise resurrection was a jaw-dropper.
But this season, he’s not the same cool, calculated player we knew before.
Joey Bada$$ told PEOPLE he really leaned into a darker, more chaotic version of Unique this time around:
Let’s take the calm, charismatic, well-calculated fly dude and let’s make him unhinged…
He’s full of revenge, not thinking clearly, and somehow convinced everyone conspired against him.
So with Unique spiraling and E-Tone stepping on the scene, the streets are about to get real messy.
