Keshia Knight Pulliam is pregnant!
Keshia and Brad took to social media on Thursday, December 1 to show off her baby bump with a cute boomerang.
“Ooh, baby baby” from the classic Salt-N-Pepa tune, “Push It,” is on repeat and the caption reads, “Oh Baby Baby!! Baby James coming 2023!! ?❤️?”
See the post below.
Keshia Knight Pulliam and Brad James met on the set of the TV movie, “Pride and Prejudice: Atlanta” and began dating in 2019.
They tied the knot two years later in September 2021 and while their love is easy, growing a family proved to be a bit more challenging.
The 43-year-old actress shared her infertility story in “Eggs Over Easy: Black Women & Fertility,” an OWN documentary streaming on Discovery+.
Keisha explained that she was preparing to begin the process of freezing her eggs when the pandemic hit and the world went on lockdown.
I never thought I would be one of the stories shared within the documentary. I was 41 at the time and knew that I wanted another kid, but I knew that it wasn’t right now.
I began the process of freezing my eggs and then literally the day that I was supposed to start my meds is when, as a result of the pandemic, they shut down all elective medical procedures. So, I was unable to continue.
I think a lot of people didn’t realize that, with the world shutting down in the pandemic, it didn’t just affect your ability to go to the mall, or to do sporting events the way you want to, but it definitely affected a lot of people from a medical standpoint. People were unable to get mammograms and cancer surgery [which] were very much needed.
It’s crazy that preserving your right and your ability to have a baby is considered elective. It shouldn’t. It should be an option that’s given to all women.
This will be the first child for Brad James and the second child for Keshia Knight Pulliam, who is already a proud mother to her 5-year-old Ella Hartwell, with her ex-husband Ed Hartwell.
Congratulations to Keshia and Brad on their forthcoming bundle of joy!
