In the latest episode of Keri Hilson vs. Everybody, Miss Keri Baby logged onto Quinta Brunson’s internet to respond to Ester Dean’s “apology”—and let’s just say…she had time.

If you were off being productive today, let me catch you up real quick.

🎙️ Keri Hilson Spills the Tea on ‘The Breakfast Club’

Keri Hilson recently appeared on “The Breakfast Club,” where she revealed that music producer Polow Da Don “forced” her to record the infamous Beyoncé diss—a move that many believe derailed her once-promising music career.

She also made it clear that she didn’t write the controversial verse—though she didn’t name who did.

👀 Ester Dean Outs Herself…Then Backpedals

Not long after the interview aired, Ester Dean popped up to reveal that she was the one who penned the verse in question.

But when social media dragged her for filth, Ester quickly switched up the energy and issued what she called an apology—crediting herself for “growth” and “accountability.”

Sounds noble, right? Eh…not so fast.

🧾 Keri Hilson Wasn’t Here For The Half-Truths

Just as suspected, Ester’s apology wasn’t giving genuine—it was giving strategic.

She conveniently referred to the verse as something she co-wrote with Keri Hilson.

Keri? Oh, she wasn’t letting that ride.

She slid into the comment section of TSR and dropped a mini dissertation—respectful but sharp.

Read her full statement:

Dean, I personally don’t think this is our fight to have. I’ve respected you on this matter for 16 years, and attempted to do that again yesterday while finally expressing the truth when asked.

But since you’re coming to the table, let’s be clear…You used the word co-wrote. I RE-wrote 3 lines in your verse. Which was the ONLY battle I won in the whole matter.

But you weren’t there when all this was going down, and we didn’t write it together.

These lines are mine: ‘Been getting dollars boy/Gone get ya money up/No you ain’t the only homie on me, line up.’ The softest section.

Lines about a boy. Because not only did I strongly disagree with the unnecessary hateful sentiments towards other women, and I’ve never been a fan of the publicity stunt method…

I ALSO argued in my trail of attempts that ‘This verse isn’t even ON SUBJECT with the original song!’ which is how I even got those 3 lines on the remix.

They were taken from the ideas/lines in my phone that I mention in the full interview.

You chose to stay quiet for 16 years, but coming out only now, when you felt a portion of the heat I’ve gotten all this time.

I really wasn’t gonna discuss this anymore. But in that interview we talked about the backlash of NOT speaking up for myself.

So I just wanna finally clear the air, respectfully. For those who only watched the clip, I suggest you watch the full interview. Love.🙏🏾

✨ Black History Moment Closed?

  1. Ester Dean’s “apology” was definitely damage control. She was trying to cover herself. She could’ve remained silent about this because Keri didn’t call her out. She thought she was going to get positive attention but when it turned she tried to cover herself. Apology not accepted.

Can’t wait for Keri’s new album!!!
