Juelz Santana is free at last!

The 38-year-old Dipset rapper and “Love & Hip Hop” star, born LaRon Louis James, was released from Petersburg Medium FCI federal prison in Hopewell, Virginia, on Wednesday (August 5).

Juelz was sentenced to 27 months in prison for gun possession.

In March of 2018, Juelz fled the Newark International Airport after a gun was discovered in his carryon bag.

He was charged with 1 count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and two counts of carrying a weapon on an aircraft.

Juelz Santana accepted a plea deal to avoid a 20-year sentence.

His wife, Kimbella James, has been fighting to get Juelz released from prison early due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

She took to social media to reveal her husband was supposed to be released last week, but something went wrong.
