Jonathan Majors showed up for his hearing in Manhattan’s domestic violence court on Tuesday morning hand-in-hand with his girlfriend, Meagan Good.
The 33-year-old Creed III star is accused of twisting a woman’s arm, striking her in the head, and shoving her into a vehicle in New York City back on March 25, 2023.
Jonathan has been charged with misdemeanors including assault and could be sentenced up to a year in jail if convicted.
Judge Rachel Pauley wished Jonathan Majors the “best of luck” as she scheduled his trial date for August 3, 2023.
His attorney, Priya Chaudhry, says he is innocent and that evidence shows the woman was the attacker.
Jonathan Majors’ romance with Meagan Good surfaced in early May after the two were spotted out and about at the movies and out to dinner.
Things progressed to them catching flights together and now Meagan’s showing up in court with the actor to prove she’s going to stick beside him.

This is Meagan Good’s first public relationship after her marriage to DeVon Franklin.
DeVon and Meagan tied the knot in June 2012 and famously remained celibate until marriage and even wrote about it titled, “The Wait.”
DeVon Franklin would later file for divorce in December 2021 to end their nine-year marriage.
It will be interesting to see where Jonathan Majors and Megan Good relationship goes.
