Jeezy put a ring on it, y’all! The rapper proposed to Jeannie Mai on March 27 during a “Quarantine Date Night.”
According to People, Jeezy (real name Jay Wayne Jenkins) had planned to propose to “The Real” co-host during their getaway to Vietnam.
But, thanks to Rona, they had to cancel their plans and he opted to pop the question during a candlelit dinner he planned at his Los Angeles home.

Jeannie’s rep told the magazine:
Jeannie and Jay were set for a trip to Vietnam this April. What Jeannie didn’t know is that Jay was planning to propose.
Instead, Jay decided to bring Vietnam to Jeannie with a surprise quarantine date night in his home filled with Vietnamese food and decor.
Jeannie and Jeezy had been dating since November 2018.
This will be the first marriage for the rapper and the second for the talk show host, who divorced Freddy Harteis after 10 years of marriage in 2017.
