The exclusive one-on-one conversation featuring Jeezy and Nia Long is receiving rave reviews.
The one-hour tell-all interview was a promotional event for Jeezy’s latest double album, I Might Forgive…But I Don’t Forget.
The rapper, whose real name is Jay Jenkins, openly admitted, “As I sit here at 46… I can’t honestly tell you that I’ve experienced love, especially not unconditional.”
He further revealed, “The divorce has not been an easy journey. I can tell you that I’m sad, disappointed, and uneasy.“
Nia Long also shared her personal journey during the conversation with Jeezy.
The accomplished 53-year-old actress discussed her highly publicized breakup with Ime Udoka, which she described as a “wakeup call.”
Ime Udoka, who was the head coach of the Boston Celtics at the time, jeopardized their relationship through an affair with a female subordinate within the team’s organization.
Nia Long confided in Jeezy, saying, “It was a wakeup call for me in the sense of like, ‘OK, you’re going to do this on your own and you’re going to be fine and you’re not going to worry about what anyone thinks and has to say.”
She further emphasized, “The relationship was rocky for a very long time. I don’t believe another person can break anyone up.”
