Irv Gotti opened up about DMX’s passing while speaking with “The WGCI Morning Show” on Friday.

The Murder Inc. founder claimed the rapper overdosed because the dose of crack he had was laced with fentanyl.

Irv Gotti went on to say once DMX was hospitalized he was diagnosed with COVID-19 and “he couldn’t breathe.”

He also discussed DMX being declared brain dead.

Watch a portion of the conversation below.

Irv Gotti was X’s dear friend and he played a major role in launching his career.

During an appearance on “Drink Champs,” DMX gave Irv his flowers.

While I understand people are hurting over the loss of DMX and are still looking for answers, something doesn’t sit right with my spirit about this convo.

Do you think Irv was out of line for sharing these details?
