The 2023 Golden Globe nominations have been announced and I am ecstatic to see many of my favorite actors, actresses, and shows on the list.
The Banshees of Inisherin, a darkly comic story of a shattered friendship set against the backdrop of the Irish civil war, topped the list with eight nominations.
But, I’m most excited to report Quinta Brunson‘s reign continues as her hit series, “Abbott Elementary,” has scooped five nominations.
The nominations include Best Television Series, Musical or Comedy, Best Actress in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy for Quinta, Best Supporting Actor, Television nomination for Tyler James Williams, and Best Supporting Actress, Television nomination for both Sheryl Lee Ralph and Janelle James.
I am also proud to congratulate the following 2023 Golden Globe nominees:
Jeremy Pope – Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama for The Inspection.
Viola Davis –Â Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama, for her role in The Woman King.Â
