Former “Love & Marriage: Huntsville” star Destiny Payton-Williams was arrested on Wednesday (October 25) on multiple forgery charges.
According to Huntsville Crime Stoppers, the 41-year-old Madonni Beauty founder was wanted for forging her ex-husband’s name on a utility contract without his consent or knowledge.
Apparently, La’Berrick Williams filed charges against his ex-wife for playing with his name and his credit.
Destiny Payton-Williams went live on Instagram before turning herself in at the Madison County Courthouse.
In her short video, Destiny said that through it all she has learned she is one of God’s toughest soldiers.
She did note that this ordeal is really taking a toll on her father.
Watch the video below.
Destiny turned herself in at 8:40 a.m. with a fresh beat and offered a big smile in her mugshot.
She was charged with forgery 3rd-degree altering, forging, or counterfeiting a certificate of title.
Destiny Payton-Williams was released at 9:48 a.m. after posting a $2,500 bond.
During her time on “Love & Marriage: Huntsville,” Destiny was very good friends with Melody Shari Holt.
But, once their friendship went sour – it was bad.
Destiny became guarded and no longer opened her life up to the OWN cameras, which diminished her presence and contribution to the show.
When I asked Carlos King why Destiny left the show – he said he would allow her to tell her truth in her own time. Then, he would comment on it.
