Demaryius Thomas: Former Denver Broncos WR Passes Away At 33

We are sad to report that Super Bowl champion and five-time pro bowler Demaryius Thomas has passed at 33.

According to police, Demaryius was found deceased in his Roswell, Georgia home Thursday night (December 9).

The cause of death is unknown, but preliminary reports suggest Demaryius died from a medical issue.

Demaryrius’ passing comes six months after he officially announced his retirement and less than three weeks before his 34th birthday on Christmas Day.

Broncos wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni took to Twitter writing: 

I’m so sad … I’m heartbroken. I’m at a total loss. I’m sick … I’m crying I’m just … I don’t know. The Azzanni family will always love you DT. I’m blessed to have known you. RIP #88

Demaryius was drafted by the Denver Broncos out of Georgia Tech with the 22nd pick in the 2010 NFL draft.

He won a Super Bowl with Peyton Manning in 2015.

Demaryius played nine seasons in the NFL with four different teams including, the Broncos, the Texans, the Patriots, and the Jets.

Many current and former NFL players and analysts have taken to Twitter to express their condolences.
