Mo'Nique - D.L. Hughley dispute over headlining Detroit comedy Show

D.L. Hughley has officially reached the point of no longer speaking on Mo’Nique or even acknowledging her existence.

TMZ recently caught up with the legendary comedian and actor and asked if he has accepted the apology she issued to his family.

D.L. said with a straight face:

I don’t even know who you’re talking about.

You only get, but so many breaths in your life and I refuse to use one more on somebody like that.

When asked if he would ever work with Mo’Nique again, D.L. said:

I don’t even know who that is.

You may recall, D.L. Hughley and Mo’Nique ended up in a nasty dispute over who was supposed to headline a comedy show in Detroit.

From there, the dispute spiraled out of control to the point of Mo’Nique making disrespectful comments about D.L.’s wife and bringing up the sexual assault of his daughter.

The disrespect prompted D.L. Hughley’s eldest daughter, Ryan Nicole Shepard, to call Mo’Nique out in a social media post.

Mo’Nique later issued an apology to D.L.’s family, but reaffirmed she meant every word she said about him.

At this point, I think it’s best that D.L. Hughley and Mo’Nique forget about each other and move forward with their lives.
