The official trailer for the original comedy series “Bookie” is now available from Max.

Created by Emmy-nominated talent Chuck Lorre and Nick Bakay, this darkly humorous comedy delves into the world of veteran Los Angeles bookie Danny (Sebastian Maniscalco).

With the potential legalization of sports gambling in California looming, Danny faces the risk of his business being disrupted.

Teaming up with his best friend and former NFL player Ray (Omar J. Dorsey), side-hustling sister Lorraine (Vanessa Ferlito), and reluctantly reformed drug dealer Hector (Jorge Garcia), Danny must navigate his way through a clientele growing more unstable by the day.

He faces the daunting task of settling their debts while also placing risky bets of his own.

Bookie” is packed with relatable mishaps and takes viewers on a journey as one man strives to adapt to a rapidly evolving world, using charm and cunning to climb the ladder to success.

Don’t forget to mark your calendar for the premiere of “Bookie” on Max, coming to your screens on Thursday, November 30.
