The “Black-ish” episode that was shelved by ABC in 2018 will now see the light of day.
You may recall, the episode titled, “Please Baby, Please,” from season 4 of the hit comedy series, tackled issues including Donald Trump, climate change, white supremacists, and Colin Kaepernick’s protest against police brutality.
Months after the episode was snatched, Kenya Barris, bounced after signing a lucrative deal with Netflix.
In a statement posted on his Instagram page, Kenya said:
I cannot wait for everyone to finally see the episode for themselves and, as was the case nearly three years ago, we hope it inspires some much-needed conversation — not only about what we were grappling with then or how it led to where we are now, but conversations about where we want our country to go moving forward and, most importantly, how we get there together.
