Bill Cosby was all smiles on Thursday (June 29) as he celebrated the one-year anniversary of his sexual assault conviction being overturned by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Cosby’s spokesperson, Andrew Wyatt, shared a photo of the legendary actor and comedian sitting and smiling.

Bill shared the photo along with the caption:

After two years and 10 months fighting for my life and the truth – one year of freedom home with my family sure looks good on me (At least that’s what my wife says).

In an exclusive interview with Syndicated Radio Show Personality Frankie Darcell, Bill Cosby said:

Many along with the media will ask why are you speaking now.

Hope and inspiration comes to my mind when I think of those men that will never be left behind nor forgotten by me. Many of them called me their HERO but they really became my HERO.

The anniversary of Bill Cosby’s vacated sentence comes just one week after he was found liable for the 1975 sexual assault of Judy Huth at the Playboy Mansion.

Mr. Cosby did not appear in court nor did he testify in the civil trial.

Although things did not go in his favor, Judy Juth’s case was the last legal claim against the 84-year-old.
