Beyoncé kicked off the 2022 Oscars on Sunday (March 27) with a beautiful performance of “Be Alive” from King Richard.
The beautiful and empowering song garnered the R&B superstar her very first Oscar nomination.
The performance took place on Venus and Serena Williams’ hometown tennis court in Compton, California.
Beyoncé, her dancers, singers, orchestra, and the court were all adorned in the neon yellowish-green color of a tennis ball.
At one point, Blue Ivy joins the performance and executes choreography to make it even more special.
