Benzino took to social media to deny allegations of abuse and explain a viral video that shows him in a meltdown.

The former “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star is accused of abusing his girlfriend, Ashley Bell.

In the video, which has been shared by 50 Cent, Benzino is seen sitting on the floor in his underwear, crying uncontrollably, holding a steak knife, and threatening to harm himself after Ashley reportedly called the police.

Ashley, who was recording, tries to calm him down and promises to cancel the police call to keep him from hurting himself.

Watch the clip below.

Later, Benzino, whose real name is Raymond Scott, addressed the video on social media, saying he’s okay. He claimed the clip was a rehearsal for a Tubi movie and that Ashley was helping him practice a script.

Ironically, that same “audition tape” ended up in my email inbox on December 12.

Watch Benzino’s explanation below.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Benzino’s had a meltdown caught on video—remember his dramatic moments with his ex, Althea Heart?

Looks like this might be the sequel. Stay tuned for the trailer… Chile.
