In a recent interview with The Art of Dialogue, Chris Todd, who released Kim Porter’s alleged memoir under the pseudonym Jamal T. Millwood, addressed the cease and desist filed by Al B. Sure, aiming to halt the book’s sales.
I previously reported that Al, who once appeared to endorse the book, filed a cease and desist claiming it falsely states that Kim Porter allegedly witnessed him and Sean “Diddy” Combs engaged in a sexual act.

In his cease and desist, Al B. Sure, whose real name is Albert Joseph Brown III, seeks to stop all sales of the alleged memoir.
But that’s not all—Al B. Sure is also demanding a retraction, a public apology, and compensatory and punitive damages for the irreparable damage the book has caused to his reputation.
Chris Todd reacted to the cease and desist, stating:
If he wants to have a conversation, we can have a conversation… he wants to sue Jeff Bezos—good luck!
They leaked it to the media before they gave it to me. Why don’t we talk about that first? It was given to the New York Post before I received it. What’s up?
Yes, I did receive it, but why would you send it to the media before sending it to me? Because you want media. You want press.
So, I know what he’s doing. He wants to lock horns… be careful. Look me up.
Look at my other lawsuit—$40 million in Miami. Go look at what I’m doing over there.
Chris Todd also addressed the excerpt of the book that pertains to Al B. Sure, saying:
He’s x’d out in the book; it doesn’t even say it.
So, he’s going to try to file a lawsuit against one of the biggest companies in the world, and their lawyers are going to open the book and say, ‘I don’t know what’s going on, let me read…’
They’re going to see a bunch of x’s; it doesn’t even say it.
Now, defamation by implication, when you imply something—yeah, they might have a peg leg to stand on with that.
But, still again, he’s in like half a page, okay. I didn’t say it… she said it.
Chris added:
I did him a solid. I x’d out what it said. I didn’t even put it out there.
But, I get it. When I first read the pages, too—I was shocked! I was! I don’t know if she’s trying to be shocking.
I don’t know. She’s not the first author to do it.
Chris admitted he almost didn’t include Al B. Sure in the book and is considering removing that chapter and anything else he needs to, in order to keep the book available for purchase.
