Angela Bassett’s Son Slater Vance Apologizes After Michael B. Jordan Death Prank

Angela Bassett - son Slater Vance - Michael B. Jordan - tiktok celebrity death prank

Angela Bassett is currently trending on Twitter after her son, Slater Vance, played a horrible dead celebrity prank on her.

The prank, which is now a TikTok trend, involves kids telling their parents that a prominent celebrity that they are fond of has passed away.

Slater pulled the prank on his mother, and father, Courtney B. Vance, by telling them Michael B. Jordan had died.

Angela Bassett was so floored by the news, she couldn’t even find the words, whereas Courtney’s reaction was disbelief.

Slater captioned the now-deleted video, “Hoppin on the trend w mom and dad. Had to hug her after this bc she got sad 🥺”

It wasn’t long before Slater returned to social media to issue a public apology to Michael B. Jordan and his family.

Angela Bassett took to social media to let everyone know all is well with her and her family as they rung in the new year.

She took to Instagram writing, “Hey Everybody you good? Happy New Year from our family to yours! May ALL your dreams come TRUE & ALL your blessings OVERFLOW!”

It hurt my heart to see Angela Bassett’s reaction to her son’s prank considering the loss of Chadwick Boseman

But, I’m happy to see all is well now.
