Adrienne Bailon has welcomed her first child, a baby boy, via surrogate, with her husband, Israel Houghton.
The former co-host of “The Real” took to social media on Tuesday (August 16) to introduce her baby boy, Ever James Houghton, to the world.
Adrienne gushed, “Our baby boy is here & we are so in love!”
“If you have followed our love story… you know that our journey to baby has been very challenging – But God is true to His word and His promises.” She continued, “We have quietly prayed while sitting on this most magnificent secret for the last 9 months.”
“He is worth every tear, every disappointment, every delayed prayer, every IVF cycle, every miscarriage. Everything. All we feel is joy and overwhelming love & gratitude.”
In closing, the new mother thanked their “angel surrogate” as well as their circle of support.
“Grateful to God, to our angel surrogate and to all of our friends and family who have stood with us for over 5 years on this journey. He’s here and we have never been happier to lose sleep!”

Adrienne Bailon, 38, and Israel, 51, tied the knot in November 2016 in Paris, France.
Israel Houghton is already a proud papa to four children, Mariah, Jordan, Milan, and Israel.
This is his first child with Adrienne.
In 2018, Adrienne opened up about her challenges conceiving on an episode of “The Real.“
She shared, “Everybody doesn’t get pregnant right away. I think for myself, I thought it would happen so easily for me. It just hasn’t happened that way. I have had to come to peace that it will happen when it’s God’s timing and I believe in that and I have faith in all of that. But, it can be really discouraging and it can be really frustrating.“
