Bobby Shmurda didn’t address the video directly, but he did take to his Instagram page and posted, “When the hate don’t work they start telling lies ???.”

He added, “That’s why y’all still broke after all these years you spend your time o bullsh*t and cap to make y’all feel better ? tap into reality ? got get you some Shmoney #viralpost”

Now, Xavier Raza has taken to social media to issue a public apology to Bobby and his fans.

In the lengthy apology posted on his Instagram page, Xavier said what was “meant to be a harmless joke shook the internet.”

“I owe everybody an explanation but most importantly I owe an apology to Bobby Shmurda and his fans. I never thought my post would go viral and it was never my intention to mislead anyone. I have been receiving death threats and seeing my name attached to headlines that are far from the truth.”

Xavier went on to write, “I know what it’s like to be bullied for being gay, I would never want to put that on anyone else.”

“Anyone who knows me understands I was not doing this for court and would never want to “expose” or hurt anyone.”
