Ladies and Gents, Patti LaBelle’s Tiny Desk (Home) Concert has arrived!
NPR Music is celebrating Black History Month by featuring some of the biggest legends in the world of Jazz, R&B, Gospel, and Hip Hop.
In this installment, they have blessed us with the one and only Patti LaBelle.
During her set, she performed her hit records including “Something Special (Is Gonna Happen Tonight)” from her 1986 album, Winner In You.
She also performed “Love, Need and Want You,” the single Nelly sampled for his hit collaboration with Kelly Rowland.
Of course, Auntie performed her timeless classic, “If Only You Knew” and closed out the set with “Lady Marmalade.”
