Tory Lanez‘s father, Sonstar Peterson, took to the streets of the internet to let everyone that he and his family have forgiven Megan Thee Stallion.
Sonstar went viral after his son was convicted of assault with a semi-automatic firearm, possession of a concealed, unregistered firearm, and negligent discharge of a firearm in the July 2020 shooting of the Grammy Award-winning raptress when he told the press:
You wanna know exactly how I feel? I got some names I wanna call out.
Alex Sipiro, Desiree Perez, and the whole wicked system of Roc Nation, including you Jay-Z.
You who say you rose from the gutter, but you have traded and bargained and tortured the souls of young men, and you’re still doing it.
Mr. Peterson also declared, “Roc Nation will crumble!”
Tory Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, has already begun the process of trying to regain his freedom.
He has hired David Kenner as his attorney, who is planning to file a motion for a new trial, and the judge has delayed his sentencing from January 27 to February 28.
Sonstar Peterson went live on Instagram on Thursday (January 12) and he made it a point to share that he, Tory, and their family have forgiven Megan Thee Stallion.
This might come as a shock to many of you…but guess what?
Both, my son, myself, and others of our family have long decided that we are not going to have animosity against Megan Pete aka Megan Thee Stallion.
We forgave that girl a long time ago. Long time ago. Because again, we know that the principle of forgiveness is important in order to cleanse one’s heart, cleanse one’s soul, and to not be bound up with hatred.

I’m sure Megan Thee Stallion will sleep better at night knowing she has the forgiveness of the man who was convicted of shooting her and his family.
My only question is…has Sonstar Peterson forgiven JAY-Z and Roc Nation?
