Tisha Campbell recently stopped by “The Wendy Williams Show” and talked about her divorce, the #blackmamachallenge, and the “Martin” reunion with her real-life friend Sherri Shepherd.

Tisha got off the couch and did a praise dance when Sherri told her she loved that she changed her name back to Tisha Campbell after her divorce from actor Duane Martin was finalized.

Tisha said it took forever to get the divorce decree, and when she got it, she ran straight to the DMV.

And what made it even more special, it happened on her dad’s birthday, and he was elated.

It took forever to get the divorce decree, and when I got it I ran straight to the DMV.

And it happened on my dad’s birthday, and my dad was so happy.

I was like, ‘Daddy Daddy, I’m Tisha Campbell again,’ and he was like, ‘Oh, this is the best birthday present.’

Sherrie told Tisha that she enjoyed the #blackmamachallenge on TikTok that she did with her boys, and she said it made her realize how Black of a mama she is.

Tisha said it was magical to finally do the “Martin” reunion after 30 years.

She said it was a lot of elements that took the reunion so long to come to fruition, but it’s here now, and it will be streaming on BET+.

Tisha made a great point by saying she thinks “Martin” became iconic because it showed young Black love.

I think it had a lot to do with the fact that it was young Black love.

Because we had Claire we had Cliff, but we didn’t see that.

And so… It was really about Martin’s stand-up.

You know, it was based on his stand-up so it was real-life situations.
