Love Is Blind Season 4 Cast

Netflix has released the official trailer for “Love Is Blind” Season 4 and they’ve upped the ante on the melanin.

This season, Seattle singles have signed up to enter the pods and choose something to marry without ever meeting them.

Over several weeks, the newly engaged couples will move in together, plan their wedding and find out if their physical connection matches their strong emotional bond developed in the Pods.

When their wedding day arrives, will real-world realities and external factors push them apart, or will they marry the person they fell blindly in love with?

Love Is Blind” Season 4 will offer 12 episodes over the course of four weeks.

  • Week 1 (Friday, March 24): Episodes 1-5
  • Week 2 (Friday, March 31): Episodes 6-8
  • Week 3 (Friday, April 7): Episodes 9-11
  • Week 4 (Friday, April 14): Episode 12

It appears Netflix heard Season one alum Lauren Speed’s open criticism of the show for its lack of visibility when it comes to Black women.

She took to Twitter in October writing, “I don’t like how LIB be cutting all the black women. How come they are always in the trailer but not the show…?”

Lauren, who married Cameron Hamilton during the Season one finale in 2018, added, “I know it’s slim pickings but about 85% of them couples be forced (just moving forward for entertainment purposes) anyway. Y’all could at least force some more sisters to move forward throughout the show.”

See her original tweets below.

Welp. Netflix got it halfway right – they added more Black men to the show.

But, time will tell if the melanated cast members make it past the trailer.
