Taye Diggs and Meagan Good are teaming up as stars and executive producers for Lifetime’s latest movie, “Terry McMillan Presents: Forever.”
Mark your calendars for the premiere at 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 24.
Directed and executive produced by Charles Murray (credits include “Outer Range” and “Luke Cage“), this film is penned by writer Bart Baker.
The storyline follows Johnnie, portrayed by Diggs, who returns home from a military tour only to be blindsided by divorce papers.
At a crossroads in his life, Johnnie’s unexpected encounter with Carlie, played by Good—a local policewoman who pulls him over for speeding—sets the stage for a heartfelt journey.
As Johnnie falls for Carlie, he faces the challenge of winning over her three daughters and must confront his own fears and regrets to become the man she needs.
This journey teaches him the true meaning of love and family.
