UPDATE: Deundray Cottrell’s sister, Angelica Harris, took to Facebook to clarify Julian Morris was not her brother’s partner as she previously stated to multiple media outlets.
Allow me to clarify. Julian is a friend of my brother’s who came to visit with him from Atlanta.
He was the last person to see my brother alive and well.
Julian is now somewhere hiding because he thinks someone wants to harm him, due to Deundray being missing.
So out of fear he is hiding and somewhere being helped, while we are trying to bring my brother home safe!
We are only looking for him to get more clarity about my brother’s state of mind details leading up to him leaving so abruptly, without saying anything to family.

Police are searching for answers in the mysterious case of Deundray Cottrell, who vanished on the 4th of July and was found dead two days later.
Deundray Vanishes on the 4th of July
Deundray Cottrell and his friend, Julian Taylor Morris, traveled from Atlanta to Birmingham, Alabama, to visit Deundray’s sister, Angelica Harris.
They arrived around 6 p.m. on Thursday.
It was Deundray’s first time seeing her new home, which she shared with her husband and their children.
Around 10 p.m., Deundray said he was going upstairs to check on his dog because of the fireworks.
“He went and checked on the dog and I never saw him again,” Harris said.
Julian told the family that Deundray had left and took off running through the backyard.
The family also noted that Julian was acting erratically, unlike how he had acted over the past three years.
A search for Deundray immediately began, and they eventually called the police to file a missing person’s report.
While searching the area, they found one of Deundray’s shoes and his cell phone.
They tracked down Ring camera footage showing Deundray running through yards and jumping over a gate.
“It looked like he was looking for refuge,” Angelica Harris said. “He was running for his life.”
In an interesting turn of events, Julian went “missing” on Friday, and the family has not seen or heard from him since.
Officer Truman Fitzgerald said officers found some clothing items on Friday, and a resident provided security footage of who they believed to be Deundray.
The family launched another search on Saturday, as did Birmingham police.
Just before 3 p.m., officers found Deundray Cottrell dead.
Who Is Deundray Cottrell?
Deundray Cottrell, 31, lived in Atlanta.
According to his Instagram bio, Deundray was an influencer, dancer, model, and photographer.
Deundray was working toward his getting doctorate degree.
He was also CEO and 1/3 of the gay male performance trio, Skiiboyz.
Julian is also a member of Skiiboyz.

Fitzgerald said police are now looking for Deundray’s partner, Julian Taylor Morris, for questioning since he was the last person to see Deundray alive.
