Nicki Minaj is trending in the streets of social media for a number of reasons, one being her reaction to the shooting death of PnB Rock.
PnB Rock Shot & Killed
PnB Rock was shot and killed at a Los Angeles Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles on Monday afternoon (September 12).
The 30-year-old rapper was dining with his girlfriend when the shooting occurred around 1:23 p.m.
Sources connected to the restaurant say the shooter snatched the rapper’s jewelry before fleeing the scene.
PnB was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead at 1:59 p.m.
Nicki Minaj Reacts
Nicki Minaj took to social media to react to the news of PnB’s passing.
She took to Twitter and appeared to place blame on the rapper’s girlfriend, who posted a photo of their plate of food with a geotag on her Instagram Story prior to the shooting.
Nicki tweeted, “After Pop Smoke there’s no way we as rappers or our loved ones are still posting locations to our whereabouts. To show waffles & some fried chicken????!”
“He was such a pleasure to work with. Condolences to his mom & family. This makes me feel so sick. Jesus. #SIP #PnbRock ?,” she added.
The Queen of the Barbs went on to get a few more things off of her chest.
Nicki Minaj came under fire as people reacted to her remarks about sharing PnB’s location.
But, she stood 10 toes down in it writing, “Yup. Ima say what I want. As a RAPPER & as a MOTHER.”
