The NFL has levied healthy fines to coach Mike Tomlin, the Pittsburgh Steelers, coach Jon Gruden, and the Las Vegas Raiders for breaking the league’s COVID-19 protocols.

The NFL fined coached Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers for not wearing masks during the team’s most recent games. The Steelers were fined $250,000, and coach Tomlin was fined $100,000.

$350,000 for not wearing masks is a lot of money, but I guess when your making millions it’s a drop in the bucket.

The Las Vegas Raiders were fined $500,000 and the loss of a sixth-round draft pick for COVID-19 protocol violations. Coach Gruden was fined $150,000.

The NFL Network reported on Friday that the Raiders plan to appeal the violations.

I’m sure these healthy fines will encourage other teams to comply with the COVID-19 protocols.

I wish some fines could be levied on the maskless patrons I see in WALMART on a regular basis.

With virus numbers steadily rising it’s important for us all to mask up.
