Filipino woman Mimi Israelah presented a “white privilege” card instead of her driver’s license to two Alaskan police officers, and they all had a good laugh at the card and let her go.
According to Mimi, she was pulled over for weaving early in the morning on July 9, after returning to Anchorage, Alaska, on a flight from California to attend a Trump rally.
Mimi said she couldn’t find her license when the police pulled her over, but she did find her “white privilege” card.
In the video that she recorded, she handed the officers her “white privilege” card and asked them if they liked it and if it was okay.
The officers laughed at the card with Mimi, and allowed her to leave without issuing her a citation for driving without a license.
In a now-deleted Facebook post, Mimi wrote. “He laughed and called his partner. It’s their first time to see a White Privileged card,”

The Anchorage Police Deputy started an investigation after Celeste Hodge Growden, president of the Alaska Black Caucus, questioned if the officers didn’t give Mimi a citation because of the “white privilege” card.
Is it because the white privilege card was effective?
The Anchorage Police investigation lasted for 11 days with officers Nicholas Bowe and Charles Worland placed on administrative leave.
The investigation revealed that the two officers violated department policy, but the police would not reveal what policy was violated or if the officers face any repercussions.
An Anchorage Police Department spokesperson released the following statement:
The investigation regarding the incident is completed and is a part of confidential personnel files that will not be released publicly.
The two officers still work for the Anchorage Police Department (APD).
Celeste Hodge Growden issued a plea for greater transparency, requesting the APD release details of the investigation and any repercussions. the officers faced.
Mimi took to her Facebook to let the world know that she does have a license, and she just misplaced it that night.
She also said her presenting the officers with the “white privilege” card was supposed to be a joke because she is of Asian descent.
Mimi Israelah also added to her post:
Anchorage Police Department has the nicest police officers. Stop hating on them! They have a risky job especially pulling over someone at night. They will give you grace if you are nice and respectful to them. Just comply!
I have a driver’s license that time but I forgot that I put it in the pocket of my vest after showing it to the two police officers that I met earlier at Alaska Airlines Center, the venue of President Trump’s rally.
The investigation has been completed and thank God they’re not fired.
I apologize for unintentionally causing them trouble.
They don’t deserve what they’ve been through. They deserve a reward for being nice to me, a person of color. They are NOT racist at all!
I appeal to the chief to please
remove any violation/s from their records. It’s sad that he didn’t stand with the officers that work with him. Instead, he bowed down to the mob!
We laughed about the card because it was hilarious! Me, being an Asian (brown) pulling a White Privilege card is where the joke is. We are fun human beings that makes life brighter.
They were fun but still maintain professionalism. They followed protocols.
Reading some angry comments from the leftists are sometimes hilarious. They want my White Privilege card to be revoked as if I got it as a reward or something . FYI, I bought it from the black people The HodgetwinsConservative Twins. I believe the black guy Joe Patrick became rich for selling them.
Black people, I’ve travelled the world and been to many places where slavery happened in history. I even been to Stone Town, Zanzibar (Tanzania) in East Africa where the slave trade happened before they shipped them around the world. I’ve been inside the dungeons where your ancestors where probably imprisoned and abused before they were sold as a slave. It was an eerie feeling! I’m still feeling them when I remember being there.
But now, you live here in America with freedom! Let’s enjoy it! Our forefathers and heroes fought so hard for it!
