Martha Stewart has made history as she graces the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.
The 81-year-old lifestyle businesswoman is the oldest swimsuit model the magazine has featured and she’s serving for the seniors!
When her cover was unveiled on Monday’s episode of the “Today” show, Martha reacted by saying, “I like that picture.”
“When I heard that I was going to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, I thought, ‘Oh, that’s pretty good, I’m going to be the oldest person I think ever on a cover of Sports Illustrated,’” Martha Stewart said, adding, “And I don’t think about age very much, but I thought that this is kind of historic.”
The cover was shot on location in the Dominican Republic and the shoot features 10 different looks.
A little fun fact is Martha’s life has come full circle.
Her career began as a model at the age of 15.
She went on to work as a Wall Street stockbroker and later started a catering business, which grew into a lifestyle media company.
Martha Stewart better work!
