Maria Taylor has been winning since she left ESPN and took her talents over to NBC, and she has just been named the new host of “Football Night In America,” the most watched studio show in sports.
She left ESPN in 2021 over contract disputes after a leaked video of her colleague Rachel Nichols eluding to her being a diversity hire went viral.
Maria knew her worth and secured that NBC bag shortly after leaving ESPN.
She quickly made a great impression at NBC, and the network has acknowledged her good work with an awesome promotion.
She will be the new host of NBC’s top-rated studio sports show, “Football Night In America.”
NBC released the following statement concerning Maria’s promotion:
Maria shared the exciting news on her Instagram account, and she made sure to thank all her supporters.
So honored to share that I will be hosting @nbcsports “Football Night In America” starting this fall!
Many thanks to all of you who pushed me, prayed for me and cheered me along in my career. Let’s do this!
