Kacia Clark didn’t receive much screen time in “Love Is Blind” Season 4, but she definitely left an impression on Marshall Glaze.
The beautiful 31-year-old family support specialist made a connection with Marshall in the pods.
But, Marshall decided to shift all of his focus and energy into his relationship with Jackelina “Jackie” Bonds and ultimately proposed to her.
Marshall’s relationship with Jackie dissolved faster than a Listerine strip when her toxic behaviors began to bubble to the surface.
Jackie called things off with Marshall after she linked up with her other pod boo, Josh Demas, leaving him devastated.
It appears, Marshall tried to spin the block too! So, he reached out to Kacia Clark, his other pod connection, in an effort to rebound from his broken heart.
Marshall Glaze admitted that he really wasn’t in the right space to jump into another relationship, but he was just trying to push past the heartbreak of his relationship with Jackie.
I wanted to just distance myself from all of that, from that experience.
It was going to be difficult to try to make a relationship with Kacia.
Marshall is sorry for essentially playing with Kacia’s emotions and said that ending things with her was “rough.”
Still to this day, I’m apologetic about starting something and getting her hopes up with me going back in my shell like, ‘This isn’t really the time or the place.’
In a recent interview, Kacia Clark opened up about dating Marshall Glaze inside and out of the pods.
Kacia’s connection to Marshall was easy in the pods.
She recalled, “We were very similar in the way we voiced our emotions. He was literally the male version of me, so it was kind of weird talking to him even though I’d never seen him.”
Unfortunately, the day after she realized she wanted to hone in on dating Marshall in the pods, he shared his plans to propose to Jackie.
Kacia didn’t interfere or rock the boat.
I said to him, ‘If that’s the decision that you want to make, I respect that.’ I just tried really hard to be understanding. Like the one thing, even the real world, I would never try to like to change a man’s mind about his choice.
She sometimes wonders if that was the right decision.
In the ‘Love Is Blind’ world, you are supposed to try to fight for things or stay in it, because things do change daily. That’s just how the process goes.
Kacia Clark and Jackie Bonds remained friends in the pods, which was kind of hard on her because she still had feelings for Marshall.
I think people don’t understand that just because you cut off a relationship, your feelings don’t go away. Like, it’s still gonna be there. It’s just like any other relationship — it just happened.
Marshall and Kacia met for the first time at the cast meetup after his split from Jackie.
It was very, very awkward, because it’s my first time seeing him.
He just had this traumatizing breakup, and I didn’t know what to say. So, I said, ‘Hi.’
She eventually reached back out via text and they reconnected.
Kacia admitted, “I was falling for him in the pods, so me coming out of the pods and reconnecting with him outside of the pod … those feelings are still there.”
But, it didn’t take long to see Marshall Glaze was in no condition to jump into another relationship.
Before going on the show, I hear men telling me like, ‘Hey, I’m not ready for a relationship.’ But still, I’d try to make sure he’s mine.
But like I learned a lot about myself. I was like, I won’t do that the time. It doesn’t mean I love Marshall, but just saying I’m not ready for this right now.
Sadly, Kacia ended up being a casualty of Marshall and Jackie’s messy relationship.
It’s true that hurt people hurt people…even when they don’t intend to.
Kacia’s LIB cast mate, Tiffany Pennywell, who married Brent Brown, described her as “Beautiful inside and out! 🫶🏾”
Bliss Poureetezadi, who married Zack Goytowski, called her “The most lovely of humans!!!”
Hopefully, Marshall Glaze will heal from the trauma of his relationship with Jackie Bonds and I pray Kacia Clark finds her happily ever after.
