LeBron James has produced a new docuseries for Netflix that will feature interviews with the top coaches in the world.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, “The Playbook: A Coach’s Rules for Life” will profile several championship-winning coaches through in-depth interviews as they share the rules they live by to achieve success in sports and in life.
Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers; World Cup-winning former U.S. Women’s National Team coach Jill Ellis; José Mourinho, the well-traveled soccer manager whose teams have won three Premier League titles; tennis great Serena Williams’ coach, Patrick Mouratoglou; and hall of fame basketball player and University of South Carolina women’s coach Dawn Staley will be featured.
This will be the first non-fiction Netflix project for LeBron James and Maverick Carter’s Springhill Company, who produced “Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker.”
“The Playbook: A Coach’s Rules for Life” is slated to premiere on September 22.
