Kountry Wayne believes Jess Hilarious has “more work to do” if people are still asking about her past relationship with him in interviews.
During his interview on “Club Shay Shay,” Wayne explained:
Jess, like I always told her, she never tells the 100 percent truth and I let her do that.
But, I texted her the other day, I said, ‘Jess, man’…and I got kinda pissed…I said, ‘You got to get more going on in your career so they can stop bringing up my name in your interviews.’
Cause when I come…Netflix special and book – this going on and that going on – we don’t got to down each other.
That’s been five years ago. If that’s the main question in your interview…we gotta put some work in!
Kountry Wayne went on to say Jess Hilarious’ version of their relationship and breakup “didn’t play out like that.”
I separated from my wife, went and got Jess, and that was it.
I started talking to her. My divorce was 45 days.
