Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have finally settled their divorce regarding child custody and property-related issues.
According to the settlement the former couple will get joint custody with “equal access” to their four children, North West, Saint West, Chicago West, and Psalm West.
Kanye will pay $200,000 per month in child support, which is due on the first of the month and will be wired to Kim Kardashian’s account.
He will also be responsible for 50 % of the kid’s educational expenses, including tuition.
Kanye West will also pay half of the children’s security expenses.
When it comes to decisions regarding the kiddos, both Kim and Kanye agreed to participate in mediation if there is a dispute.
If one parent fails to participate in mediation, the other parent gets to make the decision by default.
Their property will be divided in accordance with their prenuptial agreement.
Both Kim Kardashian and Kanye West waived spousal support as part of the prenup.
Following her 72-day marriage to Chris Humphries, Kim began dating Kanye in 2012.
They would tie the knot two years later on May 24, 2014, in Florence, Italy at Fort di Belvedere.
Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in February 2021 after seven years of marriage.
The divorce was left in limbo for over a year because Kanye refused to acknowledge his marriage was over.
Kim went to court in March 2022 to get an official decree ending the marriage.
The settlement was the final chapter to close the book on KimYe once and for all.
