Kevin Spacey is cased up again – this time, across the pond!
The actor has been charged with four counts of sexual assault and one count of “causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent” in the United Kingdom.
The decision was unveiled Thursday by the U.K.’s Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), which has spent over a year reviewing a file passed to them by the Metropolitan Police.
Rosemary Ainslie, head of the CPS Special Crime Division, said:
The CPS has authorized criminal charges against Kevin Spacey, 62, for four counts of sexual assault against three men.
He has also been charged with causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent.
The charges follow a review of the evidence gathered by the Metropolitan Police in its investigation.
The Crown Prosecution Service reminds all concerned that criminal proceedings against Mr. Spacey are active and that he has the right to a fair trial.
According to Variety, some of the charges are believed to stem from Kevin’s time at the Old Vic theater in London, where he served as artistic director from 2004 to 2015.
After the multiple allegations against Kevin Spacey in the United States, the theater initiated an internal investigation which resulted in 20 victims coming forward with allegations of misconduct.
Kevin’s life has been in shambles since 2017 after “Star Trek: Discovery” actor Anthony Rapp rang the alarm on Kevin for making non-consensual sexual advances toward him when he was just 14-years-old.
Anthony and Kevin have been embroiled in a civil suit over the allegations.
In 2018, a criminal charge against Kevin was dropped after the alleged victim refused to testify and withdrew the civil lawsuit.
That same year, he escaped a potential criminal charge in Los Angeles because the statute of limitations had run out.
In 2019, a civil suit accusing Kevin of sexual assault was dismissed after the plaintiff died.
Not to mention, he is still fighting a $31 million arbitration claim against MRC which claims they lost profits on “House of Cards” after he was fired for his dirty deeds.
Whew, chillaaay!
