Kevin McGrath was last seen on video dancing on the Carnival Conquest on Saturday (September 2) before he went missing and his family is seeking answers.
According to reports, the 26-year-old vanished hours before the ship arrived back in Miami.
Carnival reported:
The guest was not located on board despite an extensive search.
The U.S. Coast Guard was contacted and completed a helicopter search of the water in the general vicinity…
The Coast Guard reported they covered 3,300 nautical miles before suspending their search on Wednesday (September 6).
Police said that security cameras did not indicate that Kevin McGrath may have gone overboard.
Kevin’s sister, Danielle McGrath, spoke out and asked anyone with any information to please come forward:
We have no answers. My family and I have no answers.
No one just vanishes into thin air. Where is my brother?
We love you Kevin, and we want you to come home.
It’s just plan and simple.
I know someone saw something, heard something, even if you think it’s something small come forward.
Just anything will help. Anything will help at this moment because we’re sitting here with no answers.
Danielle said her brother would never just disappear without telling anybody. She said he is outgoing, he’s a father, and he was having a great time on the ship.
Carnival’s care team is now supporting the family.
Police are asking the public to come forward with any information they may have related to Kevin’s disappearance.
